AIRROC looks forward to reuniting with our legacy colleagues from Sunday, October 15 through Tuesday October 17, 2023.
The legacy sector’s “must attend” event offers many of the highlights we all expect as well as some new additions to the schedule this year. Changes include offering a Mexican Fiesta dinner as our delegates arrive on Sunday, Robert Hartwig as the keynote speaker for the Monday Education Day, and an Award Ceremony/Pre Dinner reception where we will announce the Person of the Year and the NextGen Scholarship winner.
Similar to the last few years, the event will be offered as a hybrid with the ability to join the Education Sessions via live stream. Delegates attending in-person will have two full days for transaction meetings and with our many social events be able to network, make new connections and catch up with industry colleagues.
The Education Sessions will be held on Monday with topics including: The Legacy Deals Landscape, A Look at the Florida and California Property Market Challenges, Letters of Credit and Vesttoo. To top it off, our featured keynote speaker will be Robert Hartwig from the University of South Carolina.
Our signature gala dinner is again hosted at Battello – across the street from The Westin. With its soaring ceilings and industrial yet elegant surroundings, regular attendees know that this is an evening not to be missed. With breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline and Hudson River, we all look forward to this dinner every year!
As in years past, our event host will be The Westin Jersey City Newport, located at 479 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City, New Jersey. The Westin is steps away from the Hudson River with spectacular views of the New York City skyline. Ideally located, the hotel is easily accessible via public transportation as it is less than 15 minutes via the PATH train to New York City, and boasts a number of restaurants and shops close by, as well as deluxe amenities.
