AIRROC is excited to introduce our newest Board Members and share a little about how they became involved with AIRROC and why they are passionate about the work we are doing for the legacy community. The AIRROC Board is comprised of a dedicated team of experienced industry leaders that channel their talent and energy into furthering our mission. Please join us in welcoming Judy Harnadek, Eric Pince and Stewart S. Richmond, Jr.
Judy Harnadek, Vice President, Resolute Management Inc, has been a regular attendee of AIRROC meetings for many years. She remembers when the focus of AIRROC was more geared toward commutations; she believes its current broader opportunities for networking, education, and problem solving for the Legacy sector is key to its enduring value to its members. As a Board Member, she is a key player on the ADR Task Force and has worked to develop and update both the process and the list of seasoned arbitrators that are critical components of the newly updated DRP.
Eric Pince, Director, Insurance Consulting and Technology, Willis Towers Watson (“WTW”), was introduced to AIRROC in 2021 while working on a legacy liability review. He attended his first AIRROC conference in the Spring of 2022 and less than a year later found himself on the Board of Directors. He is impressed by AIRROC’s platform for attracting professionals with different expertise who have a common interest in legacy markets. Expressing an interest in learning, teaching, and mentoring, he is eager to contribute to increasing AIRROC’s influence to benefit its members by fostering connections with members of regulatory bodies and by better integrating them into AIRROC’s educational and networking events.
Stewart S. Richmond, Jr., Director, Assistant Vice President, Assumed Reinsurance Claims, has been at RiverStone for 19 years following a stint in environmental law private practice. His work on the assumed book led him to his first AIRROC meeting in 2018 to network with and resolve claims issues. He joined the Board in September 2022 and values the success AIRROC presents at giving its membership opportunities for personal development, building industry relations, and conducting meaningful work – both “in person” and via other fora. Stewart is married and lives with his wife and a newly adopted Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy in Manchester, NH. Besides the opportunity to build a better working relationship with cedants, a trip to New York city for AIRROC meetings and events gives him an excuse to visit his youngest at Columbia University.
