The AIRROC NextGen Task Force met virtually in February to kick start 2021 events and to continue the planning for 2021 activities.
On February 3rd, Matt DiSanto, Co-Chair of NextGen Task Force, presented at the AIRROC webinar “2020 Deals: The Year in Review.” A joint presentation from PwC, Aon, and the AIRROC NextGen Task Force, the session reviewed 2020 global deal activities in the run-off market, summarized market trends, and provided a forward-looking view into 2021. A recording of the session can be found at “2020 Deals: The Year in Review”.
The NextGen Task Force started to grow its digital presence in February 2021 as part of its communication strategy. Members are encouraged to follow the AIRROC NextGen Task Force LinkedIn page to get the latest information on upcoming activities. The Task Force recently supported the Insurance Careers Month by sharing posts on its LinkedIn page using the #InsuranceCareersMonth and #ICM2021 tags. Among its 2021 initiatives, the NextGen Task Force plans to create more educational events geared towards young professionals, expand its reach to aspiring insurance professionals via university relations, and gain more traction through creative (virtual) social events. Following the February activities, the Task Force is expecting to participate in an upcoming education event, “Actuary of the Future,” in April 2021. In the meantime, the Task Force is also looking to strengthen and expand its partnerships with universities and university insurance programs for the 2021 AIRROC Scholarship.
The AIRROC NextGen Task Force warmly welcomes interested individuals and potential university partners to reach out to us and get involved!
