The AIRROC NextGen Task Force is a diverse group of young professionals who work in conjunction with the AIRROC Board of Directors and Executive Director to explore ways to transfer knowledge about legacy, engage with and provide networking and educational opportunities for the next generation of legacy industry and AIRROC association leaders. As part of our communication strategy to share our ideas and report on the progress of the Task Force, we plan to provide periodic updates to the AIRROC community through a feature column in the AIRROC newsletter as well as updates on other media platforms.
The goal of the NextGen Task Force is to create and foster intercompany relationships through holding and facilitating mentorship programs, educational sessions, networking events, and career development opportunities. One of our first steps to organize and tackle this ambitious objective was to identify specific target areas of concentration and create working group committees with designated specific Task Force members to lead those efforts. As such, we are happy to announce the following Committees and Committee Chairs:
- NextGen Task Force Co-Chairs – Matt DiSanto and Nate Zwick
- Education – Kathryn Reynolds
- Social Event – Jessica Groenewegen
- University Relations – Grant Donkervoet
- Digital Content – Anthony D’Ambrosio
- Member Communication – Sunny Liu
- Governance – Matt DiSanto and Nate Zwick
As we move forward to fill out the Committees, we’re looking for exceptionally talented and passionate young professionals to join us as Ambassadors. Ambassadors are individuals who share a commitment to our mission, vision, and action-oriented approach. Check out our webpage on the AIRROC website for updates on how you can become an Ambassador and help us get the word out about what we are doing.
